Introduction Of Cathode Protection

The cathodic protection (CP) is a technique used to control the metal surface by making the cathode of an electrochemical cell. This simple technique of protection connects the metal to be secure to a more easily corroded “sacrificial metal” to act as the anode. By this technique the sacrificial metal then corrodes instead of the protected metal.
